Here are a few of my favourite places to eat and drink, and cool things to see and do in Seville.

Cool Spots/Things To Do
  • Alcazar: A Royal Palace and UNESCO World Heritage Site. It’s best to book this a few weeks ahead – we booked a guided tour with Walker Tours
  • Plaza de España rowing boats: You can rent rowing boats on the lake in Plaza de España – the boats are 6 EUROS for 35 mins (they don’t take card so you will need cash!)
  • Las Setas: A panoramic walkway which is a great place to catch the sunset/Golden Hour in Seville. It’s completely made out of wood, and is the largest wooden structure in the world.

Bars/Tapas
  • Casa Morales: one of the oldest tapas bars in Seville opened in 1850
  • La Fresquita: a Semana Santa (Easter/Holy Week) themed bar (it’s pretty small so most people grab a drink and spill out onto the pavement)
  • Hijos de E Morales

Churros
  • Bar El Comercio: This bar is the most popular location in Seville to try traditional chocolate con churros. There is usually a queue to sit inside, but through their front window they serve churros to go!

Pasteis de Nata
  • De Nata: I know that pasteis de nata are Portugese, BUT… I couldn’t leave this one off my list! It’s a tiny little shop in the centre of Seville where they make freshly made pasteis de nata every day.
Nun Cookies
  • In Seville’s city centre local nuns sell freshly made cookies directly from their convents. Two good convents to visit are:

More information about this tradition is in my dedicated Seville’s Nun Cookies blog post below:

Ice Cream
  • Olmo Heldareria Artesenal: I loved this place so much I went back twice on my last trip to Seville! The ice cream is delicious, they only use natural ingredients and lots of their recipes are inspired by Seville’s flavours.
